European Amphibian Conference 2026:

  • Brings together a European network of scientists using amphibians as model systems in basic and translational research

  • Aims to strengthen the visibility and perception of amphibian models in modern biology and medicine

  • Covers the full spectrum of amphibian-based research
    – cell cycle control and stem cell biology
    – neurogenesis, development, metamorphosis, and regeneration
    – ecology and modeling of human disease

  • Strong focus on young scientists
    – open slots for oral presentations selected from abstracts
    – big poster session
    – interactions between early-career and established researchers

  • Accessible registration (before April 30, 2026)
    – early-bird fee for students: €200 (non-students: €300)

  • Part of a well-established conference series
    – previous meetings in Rennes (2017), Halle-Wittenberg (2019), Ghent (2022), and Bordeaux (2024)
    – over 100 participants per meeting from across Europe and beyond
