Statutes and Bylaws (Spanish)

The Latin American Society of Developmental Biology (LASDB) is a non-profit association, which has as its aim the promotion of the study of developmental biology in Latin America.  To this effect, the LASDB also organizes and support scientific meetings, workshops and courses. The official activity of the Society is the LASDB Meeting, the past meetings have been held in Chile, Brazil and Mexico.  The next meeting will be in Argentina. The founding nations are: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, but the society is open to all scientists working on Developmental Biology or related areas in the region. 

The LASDB consists of active individual members and it is organized with a Board of representatives from each Latin American country and some external members.

The LASDB has strong links with the International Society of Developmental Biology, the Society of Developmental Biology (USA) and the Sociedad  Mexicana de Biología del Desarrollo, among others
